We are seeking talented Massage Therapists who are passionate about wellness, guest service, and creating exceptional spa experiences.
As a Massage Therapist, you will deliver personalized treatments that enhance our guests' wellness journey while providing the warmth, care, and luxury that define the MacArthur Place experience.
What You'll Do Deliver Exceptional Wellness Experiences - Provide massage and body treatment services offered by the spa, which may include modalities such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Aromatherapy, and other services consistent with the therapist's training, certifications, and licensure.
- Conduct guest consultations to assess needs, preferences, wellness goals, and contraindications.
- Customize treatments to provide safe, effective, and personalized care.
- Educate guests on treatment benefits, post-service care, and wellness recommendations.
- Recommend spa services and retail products that enhance the guest experience.
- Execute all pre- and post-treatment responsibilities, including treatment room setup and reset, review of guest intake information, service documentation, sanitation procedures, and inventory replenishment.

- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests and concerns with care and professionalism.

- Address guest concerns with professionalism and care, promptly elevating service issues to spa leadership to support timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
Support Spa Excellence - Prepare and maintain treatment rooms before, during, and after services, ensuring they remain clean, organized, properly stocked, sanitized, and guest-ready at all times.
- Comply with all federal, state, local, and hotel sanitation, hygiene, safety, and infection-control procedures. Promptly report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, accidents, injuries, or potential hazards to spa leadership or management.
- Assist with inventory management and communicate supply needs.
- Support spa promotions, wellness events, and resort initiatives as needed.

- Collaborate with spa and resort team members to create seamless guest experiences.
- Participate in training, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain required training, certifications, licenses, and professional standards.
- Uphold MacArthur Place's luxury service standards, uniform and grooming expectations, and company policies.
- Follow all company, hotel, and departmental policies and procedures, including safety standards, attendance and timekeeping requirements, meal and rest break compliance, and expectations for professionalism, conduct, and guest service excellence.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support spa operations, resort initiatives, and guest satisfaction.
What We're Looking For - Completion of a recognized massage therapy program or a valid massage therapy certification or licensure, as required by applicable state and local regulations.
- At least one year of massage therapy experience preferred, ideally in a spa, resort, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and wellness techniques.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, contraindications, and safe treatment practices.
- Strong communication, guest service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create genuine connections with guests while providing personalized and attentive service.
- Professional, dependable, positive, and team-oriented mindset.
- Passion for wellness, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences.

- Luxury spa environment with exposure to massage oils, lotions, essential oils, steam, and wellness products.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform massage treatments throughout a shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive massage techniques and maintain the physical stamina required to provide multiple services throughout a shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs and operational requirements.
